Square Eclipse
The Square Eclipse uses 24 microcontrolled tri-color LEDs that are carefully positioned behind the unit to create clean geometric patterns of light and shadow. This piece brings attention to its perimeter, creating kaleidoscopic patterns that takes advantage of light's additive color properties. As colored contours from one LED intersects with the colored contours from other LEDs they create new patterns and colors that morph on the architecture behind the unit.
A dynamic wall lighting sconce that adds mood to any lounge or home. The animation plays slowly enough that staring at the unit you may notice subtle changes, but if you look away for a moment it may be on a very different set of colors and contours when you look back.

Q. What if I want to integrate the Square Eclipse into an interior space/architecture project?
A. The Square Eclipse is self-contained and will run on standard 110v - 240v AC so i's integration into spaces is very efficient. We recommend using the piece on flat, white walls to allow the light gradients to spread and mix.
Q. Can I fit the Square Eclipse to the outside of a building?
A. You can use the Square Eclipse outside for night events but it is not all-weather proof. The casing makes the display resistant to wind and smoke, but similar to a regular lamp, rain may cause an electrical shortage and damage the circuitry. If there is a specific project/application where the Square Eclipse needs to be outside on a permanent basis, please email us at info@teeboxmarketing.com.
Q. Can I change the animation speed or color?
A. The Square Eclipse was developed as a non-intrusive, minimal, dynamic wall artpiece. It's animation length is over 10 minutes and runs through a series of color patterns and gradients with an easy plug & play interface. However, at James Clar & Associates we are happy to integrate the technology we develop for products into environments and vice versa. Q. How long will the LED display last?
A. Our LEDs are top quality white LEDs and are RoHS compliant. Each Cube is run through a burn test to ensure optimal output and viewing angle and each LED is rated to last up to 10 years.
Q. What is the lead time for delivery?
A. Within the United States, approximately 3 week for an order of Square Eclipses. Orders of 5 Square Eclipses or more will take more time for delivery.
Q. How much is Shipping? What Shipping Methods do you use?
A. Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on weight and size. Currently we use UPS shipping and allow the buyer to compare and select any method of shipping provided by UPS (UPS Ground, 3 Day Select, 2nd Day Air, Next Day Saver, Next Day Air Early AM, Next Day Air).
