Driving Products to Market

How We Work

Tee Box Marketing and Distribution seeks early stage technology businesses that lack major sales and marketing expertise, but have market ready or close to market ready products. By partnering with venture creation companies, incubators, and regional chambers of commerce, Tee Box should have an active pipeline of client leads that meet these criteria. Once a prospective client is identified, Tee Box vets their product offerings for market potential. If our analysis determines significant upside for both Tee Box and our prospective client, Tee Box contracts with the client to launch the product.

The Tee Box product launch process consists of three main components. 1) We formulate key questions for the target market that need answering before developing strategies including a determination of objections to the sale from potential consumers. 2) We develop an initial strategy and market test this strategy on a limited basis. We then refine the strategy and roll it out to the appropriate market. When it comes to retail sales and placement (including eventual roll out to independent sales reps) we have selected four differing US metropolitan markets to test the product under Tee Box auspices. 3) After the initial test markets, we create appropriate distribution channels to scale up sales efforts beyond the test markets.

Our four test markets for retail and placement are as follows:
• Chicago (Major top 5 Metro)
• Fort Worth (Mid size with association to major Metro)
• Memphis (Mid size stand alone)
• Little Rock (Small Metro)

These perspective test markets help us prove marketing strategies and prepare them for scale up. Since the markets represent major, but differing markets types of the US, they permit us to test our strategies and tailoring them as necessary for scale up.
